About This Role

This role involves leading entire proposal generation activities between Pursue-No-Pursue (PnP) and Contract Award for all Defence and Security Opportunities within the region.

In collaboration with the rest of the capture team, you will ensure that the executive summary, commercial, past performance, technical and management volumes accurately reflect the proposed solution and winning strategy for bids, presenting medium level of complexity solutions and governance.

This role will be based in Brisbane, QLD.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Proposals for the Defence and Security business by providing guidance to deliver winning proposals on time and on budget
  • Review customer Request for Information (RFI and Request for Proposals (RFP) to extract winning themes and identify CAE discriminators that will increase the probability of winning
  • Collaborate with multiple business units across different stages of bid proposals
  • Define mid to long term strategies for future bids including outsourcing, off-shoring and partnership opportunities

Your Background:

  • You have relevant experience in a high tech industry
  • You are result oriented with strong business acumen
  • Proven experience in defence is ideal, especially within training
  • Previous experience in government proposal writing

Security Requirements:

You must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
