Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join our team at 309 FLSmidth Pty. Ltd.

About the Role

This leadership position involves leading and empowering team members to strengthen strategic customer relationships, driving business growth and advancement.

The core duties revolve around coordinating team efforts, utilizing available resources to develop and implement operational plans aligned with customer expectations and timelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Develop and manage contracts to ensure alignment with customer needs and expectations.
  • Contract Negotiation: Utilize negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for both parties.
  • Drafting and Review: Prepare and review contracts to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Customer Relationship: Foster strong relationships with customers to drive business growth and loyalty.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure all contracts and agreements comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Contract Amendments: Negotiate and finalize contract amendments as needed.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of contracts.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze contract performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on contract status and performance.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to inform contract negotiations and development.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales and revenue growth through effective contract management and negotiation.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning initiatives to drive business growth and expansion.
Requirements
  • Recent relevant experience as a Contract Manager or in a similar role in business development of industrial equipment based upon strategic relationships.
  • Good knowledge of commercial negotiations and dealings, including contract laws, regulations, or best practices.
  • Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Previous experience leading people (F2F and remote).
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities.
  • A customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
  • Good understanding of Supply Chain processes and principles.
  • Ability to interpret and comprehend basic financial data.
  • Working knowledge of the resources sector and large industrial clientele.
