  • CPB Contractors is seeking a Strategic Commercial Leader to lead our project commercial team.
  • As Commercial Project Manager, you will be responsible for implementing commercial and financial risk management procedures.
  • The successful candidate will have experience of accountability for the commercial management of large tier 1 projects.
  • Our ideal candidate will have advanced negotiation and influencing skills, supported by high level verbal and written communication skills.
  • We are looking for a Financial Risk Manager to manage the financial aspects of our projects.
  • The successful candidate will have experience in contract negotiation, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • As Project Commercial Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that all contracts meet legal, commercial, and corporate standards.
  • We are seeking a Contract Negotiation Specialist to negotiate contracts for our projects.

Preliminary site works are already underway, with construction of workforce accommodation and facilities in strategic locations along the project corridor.

About the role

  • Leading and managing a project commercial team.
  • Ensuring the effective implementation of commercial and financial risk management procedures.
  • Negotiation, preparation and recommendations for approval of contracts for award.
  • Ensuring that all contracts meet the legal, commercial and corporate standards and agreed benchmarks.
  • Review monthly and quarterly budget/cost reports for projects and provide direct advice to project Senior Management on risks and opportunities.
  • Provide commercial improvement initiatives whilst driving best practices.
  • Preparation and issuance of contract correspondence to Contractors.
  • Management of contract disputes.
  • Managing compliance and preparing reports on commercial performance of projects.

Our minimum requirements for this role are:

  • Significant experience in a commercial management role preferred.
  • Extensive experience of accountability for the commercial management of large tier 1 projects.
  • Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities supported by high level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate across senior leaders and stakeholders to manage business readiness and impacts to strategies and plans.
