Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Sales Professional to join our team at Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing lead generation and conversion of MICE business in line with hotel targets and strategy. This will involve working closely with the Director of Sales, managing business from agreed segments across certain markets, and maintaining existing client bases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities through research and develop strategies to capitalize on these leads.
  • Develop Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and development of existing business.
  • Maintain Market Intelligence: Provide regular market intelligence reports on competitor activity and trends, ensuring the hotel stays ahead of the competition.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Hospitality Passion: A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
