Lead Athletics and Cross-Country Coach

We are seeking an experienced athletics and cross-country coach to lead our school's programs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement training programs for athletics and cross-country teams
  • Select and manage team members for competitions
  • Oversight of student training and competition in athletics and cross-country
  • Coordinate events, including school carnivals

Requirements:

  • Athletics Australia Track and Field Coaching accreditation
  • Certificate 3 and 4 in Fitness and/or ASCA Strength and Conditioning Level 1 or equivalent
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Driver's Licence (bus licence preferred)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills

About the Role:

This is a key position within our school community that requires strong leadership and management skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for athletics and cross-country teams, selecting and managing team members for competitions, overseeing student training and competition, and coordinating events.

The ideal candidate will have experience in coaching athletics and cross-country, with strong organisational and communication skills. They will also possess current certification in first aid and driving qualifications.
