Job Summary

Service Stream is seeking a highly skilled Field Supervisor to join our Telecommunication division in Regency Park. As a key member of our Field Services team, you will be responsible for supporting the Field Services Manager in the day-to-day operations and contractor management functions within the NBN Service Excellence contract.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, directing, supervising, and coordinating the activities of field staff and sub-contractors. You will ensure that all field work is of high quality, consistent with relevant Occupational Health and Safety (OH & S) policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct field staff and sub-contractors to achieve production targets and meet client expectations.
  • Coordinate and assist in the training of field staff and sub-contractors to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Liaise with clients and their customers to manage their network and plant, ensuring that all services are delivered to a high standard.
  • Coordinate with public authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for field work.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management and clients on the status of work, including any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Develop and implement schedules for field work, staff, and equipment to ensure that production targets are met.
  • Ensure that all field work is conducted in accordance with relevant OH & S policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical qualifications and experience in the Telecommunications industry.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, with a focus on meeting targets and budgets.
  • Flexible approach and well-developed contract management skills.
  • NBN Enable accepted accreditation is mandatory.
