Key Responsibilities- Operational Management: Oversee the allocation of linehaul and PUD routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight.
- Coordination and Communication: Coordinate with our national linehaul team to ensure seamless communication and efficient operations.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement safety initiatives as needed to maintain a safe working environment.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage driver paperwork, data entry of customers' daily collections, and assist in other departments as required.
- Equipment and Property Management: Service coordinate our South Australian based fleet and equipment, and manage and maintain property, plant, and site security.
- Experience: Proven experience in a transport allocations role, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
- Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Business Acumen: A high level of motivation and energy, with a strong focus on business-to-business relationships and customer service.
- Technical Skills: Strong administrative and planning skills, with proficiency in computer systems and a forklift license (desired).
