About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and team-oriented Field Service Technician to join our Bosch Rexroth group in Adelaide, South Australia. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, and breakdown requests for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to external service and breakdown requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Installation and commissioning of large hydraulic projects, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
- Develop proactive responses to faults, maintenance, or modernization topics, studying system requirements and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis reporting, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Hydraulic system fault-finding and testing, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective solutions.
- Ordering and gathering components, installation, performing tests, identifying further repairs, and identifying spare parts opportunities.
- Maintaining customer confidentiality and preparing service quotations and follow-up communication.
- Uploading relevant External Service documentation, including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, service quotations, and service reports.
- Ensuring quality control through documentation of tests and installations, including supplying customer documentation.
- Conducting on-site inspections, repairs, installations, and testing of hydraulic components and associated equipment.
- Regular customer contact and client management, offering best solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
- Hydraulic fitter trade or equivalent.
- 5 years of field service or hydraulic system experience.
- Competent level of hydraulic knowledge.
- High focus on Quality and attention to detail.
- Dynamic performer and achiever.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
