Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and team-oriented Field Service Technician to join our Bosch Rexroth group in Adelaide, SA. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, fault-finding, and breakdown requests, as well as installation and commissioning of large hydraulic projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to external service and breakdown requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install and commission large hydraulic projects, ensuring quality control and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct fault-finding diagnosis and product analysis, providing proactive responses to faults, maintenance, or modernization topics.
  • Test and identify hydraulic system faults, ordering and gathering components as needed.
  • Maintain customer confidentiality and prepare service quotations and follow-up documentation.
  • Upload relevant external service documentation, including vendor quotations, delivery dockets, and service reports.
  • Ensure quality control through documentation of tests and installations, including supplying customer documentation.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, installations, and testing of hydraulic components and associated equipment.
  • Regularly communicate with customers, offering best solutions and managing client relationships.

Requirements

  • Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Hydraulic fitter trade or equivalent.
  • 5 years of field service or hydraulic system experience.
  • Competent level of hydraulic knowledge.
  • High focus on quality and attention to detail.
  • Dynamic performer and achiever.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
