Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Field Service Technician, primarily responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and responding to breakdown requests within our Bosch Rexroth division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address external service and breakdown inquiries.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of large hydraulic projects.
  • Assess system requirements to develop proactive solutions for faults, maintenance, or modernization.
  • Conduct fault diagnosis and generate product analysis reports.
  • Perform hydraulic system troubleshooting and testing.
  • Manage component ordering, installation, testing, and identifying further repair needs.
  • Uphold customer confidentiality at all times.
  • Prepare and follow up on service quotations.
  • Document all relevant external service materials including vendor quotes and service reports.
  • Ensure quality control through thorough documentation of tests and installations.
  • Conduct on-site inspections, repairs, installations, and testing of hydraulic components and related equipment.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, providing optimal solutions.

Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Hydraulic fitter trade qualification or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of field service or hydraulic system experience.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dynamic and results-oriented individual.
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
