Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the development of artefacts for the Authority to Operate Uncrewed Aerial System (ATOUAS) project. This is a short-term task with an initial 5-6 month term, located in Sydney.

About the Role

This role will work under limited direction to perform and achieve complex tasks within an integrated workforce. You will liaise with stakeholders of all levels, building good working relationships and providing a point of contact for enquiries.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing artefacts to meet the requirements of the ATOUAS project, including Risk Management Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, Air Traffic Management Plans, and Continuing Airworthiness Artefacts.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with project requirements and timelines.
  • Providing regular updates to senior naval officers and facilitating communication between team members.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and experience, we offer a competitive salary of $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience. This contract is available for an initial 5-6 month term, with opportunities for extension based on performance.

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in IT and risk management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • A high level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
