Our client is a prominent financial services firm seeking a seasoned professional to lead risk management initiatives in their Melbourne [or Sydney] office. This high-profile role involves working on a Regulatory Change Project.

Job Summary:

This leadership position supports the delivery of risk and regulatory remediation programs within our client's Australian business. Reporting into the Chief Compliance Officer, you will join the Compliance function to drive strategic change and develop compliance and risk training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams in defining and delivering business impacts across all phases of change deliverables.
  • Utilize influencing and persuasion skills to successfully implement change and influence decision-making with key stakeholders in a matrix environment.
  • Collaborate with Senior Management to define strategic change scope for implementation.
  • Present at Steering Committee meetings on change activities.
  • Implement process improvements using problem-solving and business analysis skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders.

Required Experience:

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with proven relationship building and management experience.
  • Program/Project/Change Management Skills with knowledge of the Asset Management industry.
  • Proven relevant experience with regulatory change, managing projects, or leading large initiatives within a global organisation, preferably Financial Services.
  • Demonstrated leadership in regulatory evaluation, execution, and compliance at a global asset management firm.
  • Experience in working in the banking sector (and ideally risk or compliance) highly desirable.

This position offers an attractive hourly rate [$120-$150], commensurate with prior experience. You will be employed as an on-site contractor via Anton Murray Consulting with our client.
