Job Title: Federal Government Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Federal Government Account Manager to join our team at Lenovo. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the Federal Government and Education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with existing and new clients to maintain and grow business for Lenovo across Mobility, End User Compute, Datacentre, and Services portfolio.
  • Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for Lenovo products and services.
  • Develop account relationships on all hierarchy levels at the prospects, including senior level engagements.
  • Leverage channel community to improve coverage and enhance relationships.
  • Engage with extended teams in responding to RFTs, product transition plans, and resource planning.
  • Develop strategies for profit and pricing proposals, as well as communicate and understand Total Cost of Ownership, industry trends, and critical success factors for an effective rollout.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of sales experience.
  • A proven successful track record in IT sales.
  • Experience selling into large Commercial and Public Sector organisations.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners across all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – presentation, negotiation.
  • Entrepreneurial approach, imaginative, smart, passionate, approachable.
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive for success.
  • The ability to work to aggressive targets and deadlines.
