Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Leader to spearhead our growth strategy in Canberra, identifying new business opportunities and driving revenue and profit targets in the federal government sector.

This role requires a strong understanding of the federal government space, including intelligence, law enforcement, and trade, as well as experience in developing strategies to grow client bases and drive market presence.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying opportunities and growing new business, with a strong network of federal government contacts and the ability to drive complex bids.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow our client base and drive market presence in the federal government sector
  • Manage key accounts, create value propositions, and craft innovative solutions that align with our clients' strategic goals and deliver profitable outcomes
  • Foster strong relationships with federal government decision-makers and influencers to drive business growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
Requirements
  • Extensive business development and sales experience in a systems integrator and/or technology consultancy
  • Proven track record of identifying opportunities and growing new business
  • A strong network of federal government contacts and the ability to drive complex bids
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across various levels
  • A consultative approach with the ability to have value-led conversations
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, driven by sales success
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including paid parental leave, health insurance, and career development opportunities.
