Case Manager

The Australian Red Cross is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team in Townsville. As a Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness, providing mobile, outreach, and centre-based case management services to help them achieve stable long-term housing.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct holistic assessments of client needs and develop case plans to promote social inclusion, human rights, participation, and consumer choice.
- Provide mobile and outreach support to clients, operating from a strength-based and capacity-building framework.
- Work collaboratively with staff and clients from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating respect and humility.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Sound casework and case management experience, including holistic assessment and case planning.
- Demonstrated ability to work with clients at risk of homelessness who have complex needs.
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
