About the Role

The Australian Red Cross is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team in Townsville. As a Case Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness to access stable long-term housing and community services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mobile, outreach, and centre-based case management support to individuals and families experiencing homelessness
  • Conduct holistic assessments of client needs and develop case plans to promote social inclusion, human rights, participation, and consumer choice
  • Work collaboratively with staff and clients from diverse backgrounds to provide culturally sensitive and respectful services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community service providers to ensure seamless referrals and support
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of case management services and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Sound casework and case management experience, including holistic assessment of client needs and development of case plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with clients at risk of homelessness who have complex needs
  • Experience in working competently with staff and clients from cultural and linguistically diverse backgrounds
  • Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
