About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our First Nations program at our Townsville venue. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the effective delivery of services to clients within Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Support: Provide leadership and support to clinical practitioners in the areas of complex case management, duty of care, diary management, performance management, and back-up operational support to Administration Officers/Family Information Officers.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Employ contemporary theoretical and evidence-based clinical approaches that are culturally aligned to provide therapeutic intervention to individuals affected by domestic and family violence.
  • Team Management: Manage a team, including performance management, monitoring, and review, to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Client Service Delivery: Provide client service delivery, including complex case management, assessment, intake, and risk screening, case planning, case reviews, co-service delivery, and critical incident response.
About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Experience in Leadership: Demonstrated experience in driving excellence in service delivery and performance, as well as leadership and supporting teams through change.
  • Case Management: Experience in providing case management, consultation, and support to clinical practitioners.
  • Team Management: Experience in managing a team, including performance management, monitoring, and review.
  • Client Service Delivery: Experience in client service delivery, including complex case management, assessment, intake, and risk screening, case planning, case reviews, co-service delivery, and critical incident response.
  • Cultural Competence: Extensive experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and knowledge of current theory and practice relating to the provision of human services.
