HR Leadership Opportunity

Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR leader to join our team as a Team Leader of People Advisory Services. You will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional HR support to the Courts Group. You will lead a talented team to deliver timely and effective HR advice, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert HR advice to Courts Group staff, serving as the point of escalation for complex queries and ensuring adherence to relevant policies and legislation.
  • Manage incoming HR queries, ensuring timely responses or appropriate escalation, and maintain records of query volume.
  • Lead the administration of the annual performance process for VPS staff, collaborating with the Organisational Development and Payroll teams for seamless outcomes.
  • Foster collaboration with key stakeholders across People Services, to facilitate smooth hand-offs and information sharing.
Requirements

You will be an experienced people leader having led high-volume HR service teams in complex environments. You are always looking for ways to do things better, with a keen eye for efficiency and quality. You welcome feedback with an open mind and communicate your ideas with clarity and confidence, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration.

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent experience are a plus.
