Operations Manager Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and developing our Initial Medical Waste & Specialty Services team across Victoria.

Your focus will be on delivering exceptional service at the lowest possible cost, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

You will manage technicians conducting high-risk services and relationships with key internal stakeholders, including Operations Managers, Sales Managers, Customer Service Managers, and HR Business Partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Safety of our people, state of service, quality of service, planning, productivity, people engagement, recruitment, retention, and development
  • Ability to control and manage a profit and loss account, a fleet of vehicles, and stock

Requirements for Success:

  • Leadership ability with coaching and motivation skills to exceed performance expectations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A high level of customer service skills, both external and internal
  • Demonstrable and proven business acumen
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

Essential Requirements:

  • An understanding of SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) standards
  • Experience in Clinical & Medical Waste, Premium Scenting, Air Purification, and Installations in a sales or operations management role

As an Operations Manager, you will drive team engagement, resulting in strong teams, staff retention, and exceptional service delivery.
