About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Service Advocate to join our Virtual Contact Centre team in ASPAC. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact in the lives of people with disabilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice, assistance, and support to customer enquiries on behalf of a Federal Government Agency. This includes handling inbound calls, as well as being trained in email correspondence and web chat to assist customers with their inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver brilliant customer service to customers with disabilities and disability service providers
  • Provide advice and assistance via phone, email, and web chat
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of operational documents and procedures to find solutions to issues or problems
  • Navigate multiple computer screens and information platforms to deliver confident care, advice, support, and assistance to customers

Requirements:

  • Exceptional customer service skills and experience working with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Capacity to complete pre-employment checks, including security and Police clearance
  • Australian citizenship and ability to provide proof of Australian citizenship
  • Willingness to complete a skills assessment and attend an information session about the role

Salary Estimate: AU$ 60,000 - AU$ 80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
