About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Demi Chef to join our team at RACV Noosa Resort. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the kitchen, providing a consistent high-quality product, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard
  • Assist in the maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Manage stock levels and minimize waste
  • Work effectively as part of a team to provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of kitchen procedures and techniques
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Demi Chef in a 4-5 star hotel or resort
  • Commercial Cookery qualification recognized in Australia
  • Demonstrated experience in cookery and well-developed knife skills
  • Solid knowledge of kitchen sections, service styles, and food safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 20kgs safely
