We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Demi Chef to join our culinary team at RACV Noosa Resort. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the kitchen, providing high-quality food and exceptional service to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to a high standard, using fresh ingredients and adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas.
- Manage stock levels, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve seamless service delivery.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of kitchen procedures, techniques, and menu items.
- Previous experience as a Demi Chef in a 4-5 star hotel or resort environment.
- Commercial Cookery qualification, recognized in Australia.
- Excellent knife skills and knowledge of kitchen sections, service styles, and food preparation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lifting 20kgs and performing repetitive manual tasks safely.
