About the Role

As an Infrastructure Maintainer with the Australian Rail Track Corporation, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and repair rail tracks, including preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
  2. Perform minor construction for planned capital upgrades.
  3. Undertake general labouring and track maintenance duties.
  4. Operate heavy machinery and perform welding and other maintenance tasks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current driver's license and proficiency in driving a manual car.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a team environment.
  • Past or present rail industry experience, specifically in track maintenance.
  • Current rail industry competencies.
  • Track Safety Awareness (One Track) qualifications.
  • Construction industry induction (white card).
