We're seeking a skilled Signal Electrician to join our Operations team in Maitland.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of signalling and communication equipment. You'll be responsible for delivering work allocated by the Work Group Leader (Signals) or Area Manager to ensure the operational integrity and efficiency of a designated section of rail corridor.

• You will install, modify, maintain, and repair signalling and communication equipment, in accordance with technical maintenance plans, signalling discipline standards, practices, and safeworking procedures.
• Examine and test signalling equipment in accordance with signalling standards, diagnose and isolate faults, and ensure that appropriate certificates are submitted.
• Install and maintain mechanical signalling locking, and interlocking devices and Infrastructure and equipment.

Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:

• A qualified electrician with relevant trade or technical experience
• Knowledge of or an awareness of WHS principles and relevant rail safety legislation
• Experience in fault-finding, maintenance, and repairs
• Written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to apply quality systems including policies and procedures
• Customer service focus
• Current Class C drivers licence
• ARTC Statement of Competency (Signals) or demonstrated ability to attain as per Signals Competency Assessment (EST-20-03)
