Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the implementation of our Safety Framework, partnering with stakeholders to create a secure environment that goes above and beyond customer expectations.
- Community Engagement: Develop and foster partnerships with local authorities and community groups, reinforcing the Centre's role as a vibrant community hub.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee risk and security operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and contractor management, ensuring daily operations run seamlessly and customer experience is top-notch.
- Emergency Response: Lead and train teams to respond effectively to emergencies, maintaining comprehensive safety documentation and compliance.
- Continuous Innovation: Advocate for change, support new safety initiatives, and drive a culture that values continuous improvement and innovative thinking.
You will also have Duty Management responsibilities, working a late night or weekend shift (on a roster) which will be balanced with a day off in lieu.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will bring a solid background in security, risk management, and workplace health & safety, along with a leadership style that is warm, approachable, and engaging. You must remain composed under pressure and communicate clearly and confidently in all situations.
The ideal candidate will possess qualifications or related experience in Work Health and Safety, solid experience in risk & security management in retail, property, hospitality, entertainment, leisure, or other services industry, and technical knowledge of CCTV & Access Control systems, and visitor & contractor management systems.
