About the Role:

This is a Staff Engineer - Design System role with Culture Amp, offering an estimated $160,000 - $180,000 annual salary. You will drive the technical vision and strategy for Culture Amp's design system, focusing on continuous improvements to design system tooling, engineering systems, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the technical vision and strategy for Culture Amp's design system.
  • Drive continuous improvements to design system tooling, engineering systems, and processes.
  • Coach and uplift other engineers in your team.
  • Build connections with other teams and influence adoption of the design system.

Requirements:

  • Solid understanding of systems architecture and programming.
  • Expertise in web platform fundamentals and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience building large-scale JavaScript/TypeScript applications.
  • Experience building a React component library reused by multiple teams.
  • Experience in change management and communication of change at scale.
