Cyber Security Analyst Position in NSW

We are seeking a Cyber Security - Senior Risk Analyst to join our Cyber Security, Technology and Communication Services Command. This is a critical role that plays a vital part in safeguarding our digital assets through proactive measures, threat monitoring, and ensuring compliance.
The successful candidate will have a unified and structured approach to Information Security and Risk Management for NSWPF. They will leverage the latest technologies and incident response strategies to stand as the frontline defenders of our business in the ever-evolving cyber landscape.
This position offers a competitive salary package, with an estimated $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including flexible work options, annual leave loading, and corporate wellbeing programs.
Key Responsibilities- Safeguarding digital assets through proactive measures, threat monitoring, and ensuring compliance
- Leveraging the latest technologies and incident response strategies to protect against cyber threats
- Developing and implementing information security and risk management policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of information security and risk management principles
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a government or law enforcement agency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
