Cafe Charlie Pty Ltd seeks an accomplished Executive Chef and Culinary Leader to spearhead our kitchen operations and drive menu innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu strategies to enhance customer experience and drive business growth.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing kitchen team, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless kitchen operations and exceptional customer service.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and quality to maintain high standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with culinary trends, techniques, and best practices to continuously improve menu offerings and kitchen efficiency.

Daily Duties:

  • Supervise kitchen staff in procedures, presentation, and maintenance of high-quality standards.
  • Conduct ongoing training and development of kitchen staff to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety practices, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Manage stock control, inventory, and supply chain to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with management, kitchen staff, and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in relevant culinary field and Certificate IV in Cookery.
  • Ability to work under pressure and independently, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar culinary leadership role.

An attractive salary between $70,000 and $80,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
