This is a 12-month fixed contract position as Group Sales Manager at Seven West Media, leading a high-performing sales team.

About the Opportunity

As a seasoned sales leader with a passion for driving innovation and building cohesive teams, you will play a strategic role in managing and growing broadcast regional and metro sales revenue from designated portfolios of agencies/clients.

You will oversee broadcast Sales Executives and Coordinators while working closely with the Digital GSM and Connections Planner to drive cross-screen convergent outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Negotiating and managing national broadcast deals to ensure revenue and share targets are achieved.
  2. Buiding and maintaining strong relationships with investment directors and group trading leads of respective agencies.
  3. Managing campaign activity, focusing on premium and convergent outcomes, in collaboration with digital colleagues.
  4. Driving team performance by collaborating with state SDs and GBDs to lead a high-performing team aligned with SWM's value.
  5. Developing business plans with the GBD, identifying growth opportunities, and retention strategies.
  6. Ensuring service excellence through collaborative work with investment teams and internal teams.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in agency (trading) and/or TV/digital sales. You should possess strong sales background, thorough understanding of broadcast media trading principles, ability to write and understand contractual documentation, and strong broadcast & digital media background.
