About the Role
The Head of Finance will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of Sacred Heart Mission. This is a full-time position where you will have the exciting opportunity to lead our finance team as we embark on a strategic journey to grow our services and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a small, dedicated finance team in overseeing all financial and management accounting operations.
- Manage the budgeting process, oversee accounts payable and receivable, prepare comprehensive financial reports, and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer, other senior leadership, and Program Managers to provide detailed financial insights and analysis.
- Develop and implement transformative financial strategies to inform strategic decision-making and ensure effective resource allocation.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or similar professional qualification.
- Extensive experience in finance, including leadership roles within a finance team.
- Proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis.
- A strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices in the NFP sector.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
