Job Opportunity

A dedicated professional with a passion for continuous improvement is sought to drive performance excellence within our operations. As a key member of the team, you will develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality across various disciplines.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the site's continuous improvement program, working closely with the leadership team to prioritize and deliver all aspects of the CI initiative. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to align plans and strategies, fostering a strong safety culture, and promoting lean principles throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Implement lean mindset training programs for team members across all disciplines.
  • Design and execute manufacturing cost improvement initiatives site-wide.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to teams to establish procedures and standard work practices.
  • Develop and maintain a strong safety culture among manufacturing team members.
  • Collaborate with various workgroups to ensure alignment and achievement of broad plans and strategies.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in a technical or relevant field related to manufacturing.
  • Experience in best practice methodologies in a FMCG environment (dairy experience advantageous).
  • Sound knowledge of LEAN manufacturing or Manufacturing Excellence (Six Sigma belt advantageous).
  • Ability to train, lead, coach, and develop team members, as well as engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Capacity to manage change and facilitate its adoption within the organization.
