About the Opportunity


We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People & Culture Associate to join our dynamic team at the Detmold Group.



Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to support the delivery of generalist HR services across various business units, primarily in Australia and New Zealand.



The successful candidate will work closely with the People & Culture Manager to develop business objectives, deliver expertise and support throughout the employee lifecycle, manage investigations and issue resolution, and perform performance management tasks.




  • Align with the People & Culture Manager in their assigned business areas to support the development of business objectives.
  • Assist with delivering expertise and support throughout the employee lifecycle to enable sound commercial outcomes aligned with company vision and strategy.
  • Support the HR Business Partners to manage effective investigations and issue resolution.
  • Assist with performance management processes.
  • Provide practical guidance and coaching to leaders in support of values-based and commercial decision making.
  • Prepare and maintain a range of HR documentation.
  • Supporting with cyclical business activities, reporting, projects, recruitment, and onboarding activities, process improvement, and operational efficiencies.
  • As directed assist in the annual Salary Review Process.
  • Act as an employee advocate, build and maintain a profile which instils confidence and trust in the People and Culture function.
  • Assure accessibility to employees and build confidence and trust for them to approach on sensitive/confidential issues.
  • Research and support appropriate activities to drive business outcomes.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks as required.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:




  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or other relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years proven work experience in a similar role.
  • The ability to research, analyse, and make logical decisions within a given timeframe.
  • The ability to develop trusting relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • The highest standards of personal integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality and demonstration to the principles of fairness and merit.
  • Resilience and flexibility to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong commitment to the provision of service excellence.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Team-focused attitude.
  • Excellent time management.
