**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Technical Adviser, the Asset Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and delivering a wide range of administrative functions, activities, and projects related to building and infrastructure management. Your work will be guided by government and departmental policies and procedures, with a focus on contributing to the development of new techniques, policies, and methodologies that support a coordinated asset management service.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating and undertaking projects at both corporate and site levels in alignment with Asset Strategy and Performance objectives.
- Preparing briefings and providing advice to the Minister for Education, senior executives, managers, and relevant personnel on asset services strategy and performance issues. Resolving complex matters related to asset management, financial management, and strategic directions for Department for Education sites through effective liaison, consultation, and negotiation with various stakeholders.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
