**About the Role**:
The Directorate Coordinator undertakes a broad range of administrative assistant duties to support the effective operation of the Aboriginal Education Directorate. The position contributes to a range of business, administrative, secretariat, and project management support services for grant programs and agreements, supporting the department in delivering on its vision.

The position also supports the delivery and maintenance of effective stakeholder engagement activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Manage and coordinate the Director’s schedule, including meetings, travel arrangements, and preparation of meeting materials to support daily activities.
- Provide HR management support, including policy advice, recruitment coordination, training, and onboarding plans for business units.
- With guidance, ensure compliance and proper management of grant agreements, including monitoring obligations, payments, and acquittal processes for the REC SA and SAAETCC agreements.
- Assist in the review and analysis of project activities, identifying emerging issues, risks, and gaps to provide informed advice to the Director.
- Undertake minor projects, including research, data analysis, and implementation of initiatives that support the Directorate’s objectives.
- Build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for the Directorate.
- Prepare high-quality project-related documents, reports, and data collection for the management of grant agreements.
- Establish and maintain tracking, recording, and communication systems, ensuring accurate and effective management of information.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO4: $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
