About the Opportunity

An exciting role has become available for a People & Culture Associate to join the Detmold Group team. As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will support the delivery of generalist HR services across various business units in Australia and New Zealand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Aligning with the People & Culture Manager to support the development of business objectives
  • Delivering expertise and support throughout the employee lifecycle to enable sound commercial outcomes aligned with company vision and strategy
  • Supporting the HR Business Partners to manage effective investigations and issue resolution
  • Assisting with performance management processes
  • Providing practical guidance and coaching to leaders in support of values-based and commercial decision making
  • Preparing and maintaining a range of HR documentation
  • Supporting cyclical business activities, reporting, projects, recruitment, and onboarding activities, process improvement, and operational efficiencies
  • As directed, assisting in the annual Salary Review Process
  • Acting as an employee advocate, building and maintaining a profile that instills confidence and trust in the People and Culture function
  • Ensuring accessibility to employees and building confidence and trust for them to approach on sensitive/confidential issues
  • Researching and supporting appropriate activities to drive business outcomes
  • Completing ad-hoc tasks as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant discipline
  • A minimum of 1-2 years proven work experience in a similar role
  • The ability to research, analyze, and make logical decisions within a given timeframe
  • The ability to develop trusting relationships with relevant stakeholders
  • The highest standards of personal integrity, objectivity, and confidentiality, and demonstration of the principles of fairness and merit
  • Resilience and flexibility to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong commitment to the provision of service excellence

  • Excellent time management
