At Spring Professional, we're seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join our Sydney office. This role will be working on high-profile construction projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The successful candidate will work closely with a Project Manager to develop their career into project management or contract management.

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contractual details, specifications, pricing, and delivery schedules.
  • Prepare and issue contract change proposals and amendments.
  • Participate in preconstruction activities, providing insights and expertise during the planning stages.
  • Respond to customer requests for proposals and prepare RFTs for potential subcontractors.
  • Monitor compliance with contract requirements and ensure all conditions are satisfied.
  • Manage subcontractors to ensure project targets and key milestones are achieved.
  • Estimate variations and prepare relevant documentation for approval.
  • Maintain accurate records of all contract correspondence and versions using Procore software.
  • Conduct meetings with contractors regarding contractual issues, as requested by the Project Manager.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for management and clients detailing project status, expenditures, and progress.
  • Review trade compliance agreements and assist in planning equipment and resource requirements for projects.
  • Evaluate and report any changes to project schedules, updating timelines accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with the construction team to achieve KPIs and promote a positive team culture.
  • Conduct WHS risk assessments and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years experience as a Contracts Administrator in the Australian new build construction sector.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software (Procore experience preferred).
