About the Role

Scentre Group is seeking a skilled Strategic Contract and Procurement Specialist to create and implement portfolio-wide contract and supplier management strategies.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with stakeholders and business owners to ensure effective vendor selection, negotiation, and procurement processes align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence business owners to ensure necessary commercial practices are agreed before progressing to sourcing.
  • Work with business owners to understand ongoing requirements, future demand, and planned long-term strategies.
  • Support new initiatives and business cases by performing upfront market research and due diligence on new vendors.
  • Maintain ongoing governance of existing vendors and strategically plan renewals.
  • Creation and maintenance of supplier profiles and required commercial/governance documentation.
  • Act as commercial procurement SME for projects and tenders.
  • Maintain industry monitoring of vendors, pricing fluctuations, and trends.
