Job Overview
As a Procurement Business Partner with the NSW Ombudsman, you will play a key role in ensuring the principles of value for money, transparency and accountability are maintained across all procurement and contract activities.

About You
We are seeking an experienced professional with relevant tertiary qualifications in business, contract management, risk or legal, or 5+ years' experience in a similar role. You should have knowledge, experience and understanding of NSW Government Procurement processes, as well as demonstrated experience in leading the development and management of contracts and procurement practices across a range of engagements and ensuring compliance of probity processes.

As a Procurement Business Partner, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating the end-to-end procurement processes in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders to optimise the NSW Ombudsman's contractual outcomes, supplier relationships and manage risk. You will also be responsible for implementing strategies to align with changing business requirements, adopting best practice procurement processes to manage and mitigate risk whilst ensuring efficient internal purchasing principles are implemented across the business.

What We Offer
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary package of up to $143,406, which includes salary ($116,211 - $128,061), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid way, enjoy a 35-hour work week and close proximity to public transport.
