Practice Lead, Enhanced Bail Supervision and Support Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Lead to join our team at the Department of Justice and Community Safety. As a key member of our Enhanced Bail Supervision and Support (EBSS) service, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our bail supervision and support services.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development and implementation of EBSS suitability assessments and deliver high-quality, specialized court advice.
- Provide practice guidance and operational support in a collaborative co-case management model for young people on EBSS, working closely with Youth Justice case managers and case officers.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships by leading the coordination of care teams and managing complex care team practice.
- Provide feedback to team managers and general managers regarding training, policy, and practice evaluation and improvement processes for the EBSS service.
- Oversight and supervision of a small team of case officers, who are responsible for providing technical expertise on electronic monitoring and conducting case support work with young people and their families.
- Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma in Community Services Work is desirable.
- A full Victorian driver's licence is required due to the need to travel within the state.
- A current Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card is required and will need to be provided prior to commencement of employment by the applicant.
