About the Role:

  • As a Scrum Master, you will lead and coach our Agile team to deliver exceptional results and exceed customer expectations.
  • You will be responsible for facilitating Scrum ceremonies, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members, and removing impediments that hinder progress.
  • Our ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership and communication skills, with a strong understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • They will also have experience in software development processes and procedures, as well as knowledge of metrics and incremental delivery.
  • Familiarity with common Agile practices and enhanced development practices is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Scrum team as a servant leader, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Craft a servant leadership style to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight customers.
  • Develop a sustainable pace of continuous improvement with the team.
  • Help the team articulate, radiate, and actively remove impediments.
  • Create a positive team environment that empowers the team through facilitation, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Protect the team from internal and external factors that may impact performance.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to ensure a strong vision, backlog development, and cadence.
  • Foster open communication and transparency within the team and with stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Leadership and Communication: Demonstrate strong behavior and leadership that aligns with our program's leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Understand fundamentals of software development processes and procedures.
