About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Asset Management Expertise Leader to join our team at Judo Bank. As a key member of our Asset Management function, you will be responsible for leading the management of distressed and impaired assets in NSW/ACT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Asset Management and Chief Credit Officer in the management of Judo's NSW/ACT based distressed and impaired assets.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the Director Relationships on coaching and development to ensure the right outcomes for our customers.
  • Develop and implement complex file management strategies to support the resolution or repayment of distressed and impaired assets.
  • Work closely with the Credit/Risk team members to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Provide reporting and insights on the portfolio to the Head of Asset Management and other key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services, preferably in business banking, credit/risk, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of distressed asset management/credit risk management, including customer management and collaboration with internal and external legal and insolvency partners.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships and establish oneself as a trusted advisor to the business.
  • Good knowledge of risk assessment methodology, provisioning, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in Agile mindset with an ability to work independently and as part of a niche team.
