Overview

At Hyatt Regency Sydney, a haven of relaxation for business or leisure travellers, we're seeking a seasoned Customer Service Team Leader to join our team on a full-time basis. Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in the heart of Sydney's Central Business District, our hotel boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences, and event spaces.

About the Role

As the Customer Service Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in our Hotel, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Guest Services department. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you'll lead and guide a talented team of Communications Agents, ensuring seamless communication with guests.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise colleagues in the Guest Services department, driving exceptional customer service standards.
  • Respond to customer queries and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Closely monitor the hotel matrix and facilities, staying up-to-date on any changes or updates.
  • Coordinate department operations to exceed guest expectations.
  • Familiarize yourself with all vouchers, group billing, and OPERA cashiering procedures.
  • Mentor colleagues to maximize productivity through training and skill enhancement.

About You

We're looking for an experienced professional with prior leadership experience, strong computer skills, and expertise in OPERA Property Management System. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality guest service. A valid working visa in Australia is also required.
