Job Overview

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to drive efficiency and support service delivery across several key specialties as a Service Manager at Mater Misericordiae Ltd. The position is being offered as permanent full-time, 38 hours per week, based at South Brisbane.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimise access, flow, and experience of the patient journey in collaboration with clinical teams and key stakeholders.
  • Collate, analyse, and report data to improve services and inform strategic direction in collaboration with clinical teams and key stakeholders.
  • Use project improvement methodologies to drive continuous improvement, addressing outpatient and surgical reform agendas.
  • Participate in risk management, safety, and quality activities that support the provision of quality, cost-effective care.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Tertiary level qualifications in relevant management/project management/quality improvement or working towards same, with post-graduate qualifications highly regarded.
  • Previous exposure to a healthcare environment at a senior level.
  • High-level written/verbal/non-verbal skills in influencing, advocacy, negotiation, coaching, and consultation.
  • Strong leadership skills, effective communication, and interpersonal skills, along with advanced report/proposal writing skills.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 AUD, depending on experience and location.
