National Sales Director - Food Service Opportunity

At Lactalis Australia, we are seeking a highly experienced and achievement-focused National Sales Director - Food Service to lead our team of State Sales Managers and Food Service Specialists.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within the leadership group of the Food Service team, based in South Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne and reporting to the Customer Director Food Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the field execution of our brands within the Food Service marketplace.

The role has joint ownership of total foodservice commercial result in the pursuit of achieving value, volume and margin budgets as set by the business on an annual basis. Key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and delivering the monthly forecast – both volume and financial targets
  • Leading processes to deliver commercial results including Risks & Opportunities
  • Proactively developing strategies and tactics to optimise profitable sales performance for Foodservice
  • Analysing and monitoring sales and financial data weekly to ensure results are on track

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum 5 years' experience in FMCG sales/marketing/commercial, with a degree qualification in a business-related discipline. Advanced commercial acumen, category management experience and negotiation skills are essential.
