Fuse Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in a National leader in the steel material distribution industry.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am – 5pm
  • Full-time office-based role

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional phone customer service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers by being efficient, caring, humorous, and kind.
  • Greet customers warmly and manage new inquiries with a friendly approach.
  • Oversee customer accounts and follow up on their needs.
  • Update customers on the status of their deliveries and stock availability.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as PRONTO to manage communications and customer data.

Sales and Revenue Growth

  • Communicate pricing and costs of products to customers.
  • Cross-sell and upsell into customers.
  • Promotionally sell aged and soon-to-expire stock to customers.
  • Increase sales through regular client contact and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Process customer orders in the company sales management system.

Internal Collaboration

  • Liaise daily with the manufacturing, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Update customer requirements to the sales teams.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and PRONTO is desirable.
  • Strong organization skills; ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • A thirst for learning; ability to learn about products and variations.
  • 3+ years of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Previous customer relationship and phone-based sales experience.
