Job Role: Desktop Support Specialist

We are a global IT services provider, delivering innovative solutions across Asia Pacific and EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage desktop devices to resolve hardware, software, and connectivity incidents.
  • Provide IMAC and desk-side support services.
  • Fix hard and soft break issues for laptops and desktops.
  • Maintain desktop configuration, installation, patch updates, and hardware replacements with vendor-provided spares.
  • Analyze service desk calls and incident data to identify user training requirements and automation opportunities.
  • Ensure each desktop device has the correct image installed.
  • Monitor security profiles and anti-virus software on all desktop devices and enforce security compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Windows 7 OS.
  • Good knowledge of AD and hands-on support.
  • Familiarity with MAC devices, tablets, and Service management tools like ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in EUC tools, remote support tools, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • A good understanding of Lync, VPN, mobile device support, and ITIL processes.
  • Associate degree or equivalent in electronics; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
