Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled sales professional to join our team in Brisbane, Australia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new revenue growth by expanding our customer base across public and private sectors.

Our company is a leader in operational, impact-based flood forecasting, working with large organizations to improve safety and mitigate damage in the event of flooding. Our real-time flood forecasting and mapping intelligence uses cutting-edge technology to provide critical insights for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Business Growth: Expand our customer base across public and private sectors to meet company growth targets.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a qualified pipeline in line with the company growth strategy.
  • Sales Strategy: Lead consultative, value-based sales from discovery through negotiation and contract execution.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop customer quotes, proposals, and formal bid/RFP responses, coordinating with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client priorities.
  • Contract Negotiation: Navigate complex procurement cycles and secure contracts that deploy our operational flood technology, helping clients build flood resilience.
  • Prospecting: Proactively prospect target accounts while responding to and advancing inbound opportunities.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients to provide a smooth onboarding and sales experience.
  • Industry Representation: Represent us at industry events, positioning our impact in resilience, safety, and risk reduction.
Your Skills & Background

Required Skills:

  • Sales Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise sales, ideally selling to government agencies and/or critical infrastructure.
  • Sales Performance: Proven success executing full sales cycle and exceeding ARR targets.
  • Qualifying Opportunities: Strong experience qualifying opportunities and mapping executive stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality in all that you do.
  • Technical Background: Background in SaaS, technical, or licensed solutions.
  • GIS and Geospatial Technologies: Familiarity with GIS and geospatial technologies.

Nice to Have:

  • Emergency Management Experience: Experience in emergency management or public safety technology.
  • Hydrology Knowledge: Knowledge of hydrology, flooding, and/or weather products.
