Job Title: Principal Project Coordinator

We are seeking an exceptional Program Lead to oversee the planning phase of multiple education infrastructure projects as part of the Flood Resilience Program, a flagship Queensland Government initiative.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive multi-options analyses and detailed business cases for projects within the Flood Resilience Program.
  • Oversee the process of obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals for each project.
  • Ensure accurate budget documentation and secure required funding approvals.
  • Coordinate and guide teams of external consultants to deliver high-quality work within condensed timeframes.
  • Assist with procurement activities related to engaging external consultants.
  • Cultivate effective collaboration with internal departments, external agencies, and diverse stakeholder groups.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Substantial experience overseeing government infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex approval processes.
  • Strong background in preparing multi-options analyses and detailed business cases.
  • Experience obtaining regulatory approvals and developing budget documentation.
