
Flood Resilience Growth Specialist

FloodMapp is expanding its team in Australia and the United States to enhance safety and mitigate damage in the event of flooding. We collaborate with large organizations across various sectors to develop innovative solutions.
The successful candidate will drive new revenue growth by expanding our customer base in the public and private sectors. They will also build and manage a qualified pipeline aligned with our company growth strategy.
This role requires a consultative, value-based sales approach from discovery through negotiation and contract execution. The ideal candidate will develop client quotes, proposals, and formal bid/RFP responses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client priorities.
Responsibilities include navigating complex procurement cycles, securing contracts that deploy our operational flood technology, and helping clients build flood resilience.
The successful individual will proactively prospect target accounts while responding to and advancing inbound opportunities. They will maintain and strengthen relationships with clients to provide a smooth onboarding and sales experience.
This position also involves representing FloodMapp at industry events, positioning our impact in resilience, safety, and risk reduction.
Required skills and experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in enterprise sales, ideally selling to government agencies and/or critical infrastructure.
- Proven success executing full sales cycle and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong experience qualifying opportunities and mapping executive stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality in all endeavors.
- Background in SaaS, technical, or licensed solutions.
- Familiarity with GIS and geospatial technologies.
Nice to have
- Experience in emergency management or public safety technology.
- Knowledge of hydrology, flooding, and/or weather products.
