At ANZ, we're shaping a world where people and communities thrive. Our ambitious Suncorp Bank Integration program is underway, with the 'People Stream' focusing on building and maintaining a highly engaged workforce.

We're seeking an experienced Strategic Workforce Planning Director to join our team. In this critical role, you'll develop dynamic workforce strategies aligned to the integration phases, ensuring supporting plans, organization designs, and execution of plans in line with intent.

You'll lead and support a team of 6-10 SMEs and experts to deliver target outcomes, ensuring plans are adaptive and relevant to broader ANZ Enterprise workforce commitments.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing workforce strategies, organization designs, and plans that meet commercial goals and broader ANZ system considerations.
  • Managing multiple streams of work, including scoping desired outcomes, choice modeling, and workforce planning.
  • Providing strategic workforce guidance and assurance to the broader Suncorp Bank Integration Program, People Stream, and business areas.
  • Liaising with stakeholders, including Suncorp Group, Legal, Suncorp Bank, Queensland Hub, and ANZ Business areas.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring expertise in strategic workforce planning, organization design, and execution within complex environments. Commercial acumen, experience working closely with operations, finance, and legal, and proven expertise in shaping workforce strategies will be valuable assets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of workforce strategy, planning, measurement, organization design, and execution. You'll also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner with others and solve challenges effectively.
